Corruption changes (dpeg). Corruption is now usable only once-per-level, but produces only neutrals, no hostiles, and applies all corruption effects close to the player instead of using random seed points scattered over the level.
The Zot orb antechambers get a little more protection from being short-circuited completely by Corruption.
